Intranet delivered range of Health & Safety training
from Safety4Business has been augmented with separate
on-line IOSH certified training.
Safety4Business
has
13 separate courses of approximately 45 minutes duration,
and 5 Risk Assessment modules. Titles include VDU
& Workstation Safety, Fire Safety, Manual Handling,
Slips Trips and Falls, Managing Stress, and Avoiding
RSI. The Courses and Assessments are provided as a
complete library for Intranet delivery:

The
on-line Institution of Occupational Safety
and Health (IOSH) courses follows the same
syllabus as the classroom-taught version, but can
now be delivered in-house.
The
IOSH ‘Working Safely’
course provides a grounding in Health & Safety
essentials for workers in any sector. A certificate
is awarded to all those who successfully complete
both the course and the Final Assessment. The course
is of 7-8 hours duration, followed by a 25-minute
on-line assessment. The price includes both testing
and certification, and is charged on a ‘per-head’
basis.
The
IOSH ‘Managing Safely’
course is aimed at Managers and Supervisors in any
sector, and is designed to give them all they need
to know to help them handle Health and Safety in the
area under their responsibility. A certificate is
awarded to all those who successfully complete both
the course and the Final Assessment. The course is
of 24 hours duration. 3 months is allowed for completion.
The price includes both testing and certification,
and is charged on a ‘per-head’ basis.
